This policy explains what Founders Own ("the app," "we," "us"), published by Renmus Software LLC, collects and how we use it. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Your character, quests, streaks, journal entries, and milestone progress are stored locally on your device (in the app's on-device database). This data is not transmitted to us. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
If you connect RevenueCat, your read-only API key and chosen project are stored in your device's secure keychain (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). The key is used only to read your metrics and is never sent to us.
When you connect RevenueCat, the app uses your read-only key to fetch high-level metrics — such as monthly recurring revenue (MRR), recent revenue, active subscriptions, and active users — directly from RevenueCat to your device, to power your dashboard and verify your milestones. We do not receive, store, or process these metrics on our own servers. RevenueCat's handling of your account data is governed by RevenueCat's privacy policy.
We use RevenueCat and your app store (Apple App Store / Google Play) to process the Founders Own subscription. When you subscribe, those services process purchase information (such as an anonymous purchase identifier and subscription status) on our behalf so we can unlock Pro features and restore purchases. To understand how the product is used, we may store a coarse, non-identifying attribute (for example, how many apps a user has connected). We do not receive your name, email, or payment details from these purchases.
The everyday advisor and daily quests run on your device with no external calls. Premium AI "deep-dive" features, where offered, send a summary of your own stats (such as your metrics and recent progress) to a processing service to generate the response. This summary is used only to produce your insight and is not used to build a profile of you or sold to anyone.
Founders Own is intended for developers and businesspeople and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
